ABOUT THE COVER
University librarian Mary Dempsey works surrounded by acquisitions for the new Memorial Library at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, during its construction from 1951 to 1953. The library provided a new home to Marquette's special collections and archives, where incoming American Archivist Editor Amy Cooper Cary currently serves as head of the department. American Archivist is undergoing a similar transition in its home‐in fall 2020, the American Archivist website got a brand-new look, and in 2021, American Archivist moves to an all‐digital environment. Turn the page to learn how to access your subscription to AmericanArchivist.org and read more from Cary and outgoing Editor Cal Lee in “From the Editor.” Image courtesy of the Department of Special Collections and University Archives, Marquette University Libraries.
