In the article, “Use of mgc2-Polymerase Chain Reaction–Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism for Rapid Differentiation Between Field Isolates and Vaccine Strains of Mycoplasma gallisepticum in Israel” by Inna Lysnyansky, Maricarmen García, and Sharon Levisohn, which appeared in Avian Diseases 49(2) on pages 238–245, there was an error discovered in the Results section. On page 242, in the section titled, “Application of mgc2-PCR-RFLP for differential diagnosis in tracheal swab samples,” two numbers were transposed. The fifth sentence should have stated, “Vaccine strain 6/85 is identified initially by the unique size of the amplicon, which can be verified by HaeII restriction, yielding 30- and 207-bp fragments (data not shown).” The authors apologize for the error.
