The year 2014 brings in some new cost of capital resources that many of you have probably seen by now: the 2014 Valuation Handbook published by Duff & Phelps, mentioned in the previous issue of the BVR, and the fifth edition of Pratt and Grabowski's Cost of Capital: Applications and Examples. Both works are, in part, the fruit of the former editor of the BVR, Roger Grabowski. We owe Roger, as well as Dr. Shannon Pratt and the many others working with them, a debt of gratitude for their efforts and contributions.
