I write this as the 2019 year draws to a close, and I want to provide this journal's readership with some introductory comments to the articles selected for publication, and with a broader update on the journal itself. By the time you read this it will already be 2020, so I hope that you will have had very pleasant holidays and I wish you a very happy and successful new year.
Concerning this Issue
There are only two articles included in this issue, but both are lengthy and provide a good in-depth analysis of their relative topics.
