ASA

ASA is a multi-discipline non-profit international organization of professional appraisers (valuers). The mission of the Society is to foster the public trust of our members and the appraisal profession through compliance with the highest levels of ethical and professional standards. ASA:

• Helps the public and professionals find an ASA accredited appraiser
• Is the only professional valuation organization that accredits members in every appraisal discipline
• Works to grow the appraisal profession
• Fosters professional excellence in its membership through education, accreditation, publication and other services with an emphasis on professional ethics to protect the public

ASA Business Valuation Discipline

ASA Business Appraisers value businesses, business ownership interests, and securities for businesses of all sizes. They also value specific intangible business assets such as patents, trademarks, employment agreements, copyrights and goodwill.

Business Valuation Review (BV Review) Library

Business Valuation Review, the official publication of the Business Valuation Committee of the ASA, began publication the first quarter of 1987. (Issues prior to 12/86 carry the title Business Valuation News).
