Chelonian Conservation and Biology (CCB) is an international scientific journal of turtle and tortoise research, published from 1993 to 2016 by Chelonian Research Foundation (CRF), and since 2017 by CRF in co-partnership with Turtle Conservancy (TC). The objective of CCB is to provide a public scientific forum for pertinent aspects of research on turtles and tortoises. Of special interest are articles dealing with conservation biology, systematic relationships, chelonian diversity, geographic distribution, natural history, ecology, reproduction, morphology and natural variation, population status, husbandry, community conservation initiatives, and human exploitation or conservation management issues. Articles published under "Current Issue" or "Available Issues" are the version of record.


Turtle and Tortoise Newsletter (TTN) was an international newsletter published from 2000 to 2011 by CRF dedicated to providing an open forum for the timely exchange of information on freshwater/terrestrial turtle and tortoise conservation and biology issues. It incorporated and merged the previous publications of the Newsletter of the IUCN Tortoise and Freshwater Turtle Specialist Group and the Box Turtle Research and Conservation Newsletter.


Chelonian Research Foundation (CRF) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1992 for the production, publication, and support of worldwide turtle and tortoise research, with an emphasis on the scientific basis of chelonian diversity and conservation biology. CRF is based in Arlington, Vermont. The Founder and Director is Anders G.J. Rhodin


Turtle Conservancy (TC) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2005 (as Chelonian Conservation Center and renamed as TC in 2010) dedicated to protecting threatened turtles and tortoises and their habitats worldwide. TC is based in New York, New York and Ojai, California. The Co-founder and President is Eric V. Goode.
