THE 100th annual meeting of the American Society of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists (ASIH) was held physically (in person) at the Phoenix Convention Center from July 21 to 23 and virtually from July 26 to 27, both in conjunction with the 78th annual meeting of the Herpetologists' League (HL), the 63rd annual meeting of the Society for the Study of Amphibians and Reptiles (SSAR), and the 36th annual meeting of the American Elasmobranch Society. The need to distinguish between in-person vs. virtual meetings is among the most trivial outcomes of the coronavirus pandemic that began in March 2020.
