Currently, I am the Chief of Staff at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Southeast Fisheries Science Center (SEFSC). In this role, I manage the day-to-day operations/responsibilities for projects and tasks and internal/external information flow to and from the Science Center Director, and I work behind the scenes to problem solve and deal with issues before they are brought to the Director. I also serve as a strategic advisor and counsel to the Directorate, which includes the Center Director and Deputy Directors.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia, and a master's degree and doctorate in environmental science from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in Tallahassee, Florida.
