Abstract
The jet-impingement resistance of some age-hardening copper-base alloys is dependent upon the degree of precipitation of elements from solid solution. This precipitation can affect the nature of the surface oxide films and differences in potential between the precipitated phase and the matrix can result in galvanic attack.
