Abstract
Oriani's decohesion model is reanalyzed assuming the loss of cohesive strength to be a power function of the hydrogen concentration, with application of the Li-Oriani-Darken expression for the stress-dependent chemical potential and accounting for crack tip blunting due to plasticity with the aid of the Burdekin-Stone equation for crack tip opening displacement (CTOD), and the Creager-Paris stress-field equations for the blunt crack.
