In the February 2011 issue of CORROSION (Vol. 67. No. 2, p. 025005-2–025005-15, https://doi.org/10.5006/1.3553341), the article “Effects of Environmental and Metallurgical Factors on the Stress Corrosion Cracking of Carbon Steel in Fuel-Grade Ethanol,” by J.A. Beavers, F. Gui, and N. Sridhar contains an error in Figure 13 and in the text referring to the figure. The x-axis should be volume percent instead of weight percent. The text referring to the figure should have read, “However, if water is added in significant concentrations or if water is absorbed over an extended period of time, the SCC susceptibility will decrease, and after 4.5 vol% water will be completely inhibited (Figure 13).”
