David Kolman

Dr. David G. Kolman is a project manager at Los Alamos National Laboratory. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Virginia, Center for Electrochemical Sciences and Engineering, and received a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University. His primary interests include failure of nuclear materials and nuclear material containers, aqueous and gaseous corrosion, environmentally assisted cracking of materials, and passivity of materials including film rupture, repassivation, and oxide mechanical behavior. Dr. Kolman is a fellow of NACE, and is a member of NACE’s Research Committee. He has authored more than 30 journal articles in the areas of and electrochemistry and environmental degradation of materials.
