The Herpetology Education Committee is seeking nominations for the 2014 Meritorious Teaching Award in Herpetology, sponsored by the American Society of Ichthyologists & Herpetologists, The Herpetologists' League, and the Society for the Study of Amphibians & Reptiles. The award recognizes superior teaching effectiveness and mentoring of students in the area of herpetology and will be presented at the 2014 Joint Meeting of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The recipient will receive a cash prize of US$500, recognition in the form of an official letter from the Herpetology Education Committee, and a plaque.
