In the article “Seasonal variation in Eastern Indigo Snake (Drymarchon couperi) movement patterns and space use in peninsular Florida at multiple temporal scales” (Bauder et al. 2016, 72:214-226), the authors have discovered an error in their reporting of the dates of observed breeding activity among Eastern Indigo Snakes at the Highlands study site. The first paragraph of the Discussion should have indicated that the authors observed male–male combat on 26 November 2012, copulation on 24 December 2012, and apparent mating or courtship on 22 February 2013. These dates are still consistent with the timing of increased male movements during Autumn and Winter, and with reproductive behavior reported for the species in other parts of its range (cf. citations provided in the article). The authors regret the error.
