2020 Winner.—The Herpetologists' League congratulates Maggie Grundler from University of California, Berkeley for her winning proposal entitled “How Special are Specialists? Building a Framework for Dietary Genomics in the Genus Thamnophis.”

In 2015, HL initiated an award for early-career herpetologists in support of their research targeting the ecology, evolution, and conservation of amphibians and reptiles. Particular emphasis is placed on the hallmarks of Ray Semlitsch's career—questions that bridge disciplines, and that incorporate manipulative and experimental approaches.

2020 Winner.—The Herpetologists' League is pleased to announce that the recipient of the 2020 award is Craig Lind, Assistant Professor of Biology at Stockton University.
