To maintain the quality of its papers, Herpetologica invites qualified individuals to provide comprehensive peer reviews of submitted manuscripts. The Herpetologists' League recognizes that reviewers are invaluable to the publication process by ensuring not only the accuracy of the manuscript, but the credibility and reputation of the journals.

Qualified reviewers are experts in a variety of areas, including:

• Snakes, turtles and all reptiles
• Frogs, toads and all amphibians
• Reptile and amphibian biology, diversity, systematics and evolution
