In the April 2010 (Vol. 48, Issue 2) issue of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, an important footnote was omitted in the Book Review titled, “Acts of Conscience: World War II, Mental Institutions and Religious Objectors,” by Steven A. Gelb (pp. 165–167). The footnote should have stated that the review of this book was coordinated by Philip Ferguson, an Associate Editor of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, and that the Editor-in-Chief of IDD, Steven J. Taylor, was not involved with the selection of this book for review or the review process itself.
