About the International Journal of MS Care

The International Journal of MS Care (IJMSC) (ISSN 1537-2073; e-ISSN 2834-5398), the official publication of the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers (CMSC), is a peer-reviewed, bronze open-access journal that focuses on the multidisciplinary care of patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) and related autoimmune disorders of the central nervous system.
We encourage submission of papers that cover multidisciplinary MS management issues, including

  • neurologic
  • nursing
  • rehabilitative
  • psychological
  • psychosocial
  • quality of life

Our mission is to promote multidisciplinary cooperation and communication among the global network of MS health care professionals, with the goal of maximizing the quality of life of people affected by MS.

Established in 1998, IJMSC is now published online only by MJH Life Sciences® and is also the official publication of CMSC's sister organization, the International Organization of Multiple Sclerosis Nurses.

We accept original research, clinically relevant reviews of the literature, short reports, case reports, consensus statements, controversies, book reviews, and letters to the editors. Submissions are reviewed using the single-blind model by peers within the paper's area of study. Members of the editorial board may participate in the peer review process.

As a bronze open-access journal, there are never any article processing charges or author publishing charges. The research entrusted to IJMSC is free to access for fellow researchers, MS clinicians, persons with MS, and all interested in multidisciplinary MS care.
