Promise Award for Best Young Investigator Article
The Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers (CMSC) now presents a new annual award, the Promise Award, for the best article first-authored by a young investigator published in the International Journal of MS Care during a given calendar year. The award is in memory of past editor Dr. Lael A. Stone and carries a $500 stipend generously funded by Dr. Stone’s family. Dr. Stone was known to use Loren Eiseley’s “Starfish Story” in her approach to her patients with MS and people in general, which is represented by the starfish trophy that winners receive.
