Each year, JIPO invites applications for 1-year, part-time, volunteer editorial fellowship, beginning August 1, from medical professionals who have an interest in medical publishing as well as immunotherapy the intersection of precision oncology. Fellows will gain knowledge and skills in writing, peer reviewing, proofreading, and disseminating content via social media and other outlets by engaging with the JIPO Editorial Board.
Applications for 2025-2026 will be accepted beginning January 1, 2025.
Requirements:
• Junior physician who has completed a residency program.
• Attend monthly meetings and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner; must dedicate up to 5 hours per week for tasks.
• 3 or more publications in peer-reviewed journals is preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Editor with peer review assignments
• Interview authors and industry experts
• Increase awareness about JIPO among colleagues
Fellowship completion depends on participating in monthly meetings and completing assigned tasks in a timely manner.
The time commitment is approximately 1-5 hours per week. Fellows can work remotely from any location.
