ABSTRACT

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region VIII (R8) has completed planning and exercising in seven of its designated Sub-Areas. This paper takes a brief journey through the analyzation of the results of the planning and exercising that has taken place by compiling lessons learned by profession and examines the actions taken to change and improve the response plans. A brief summary of the extensive background of activities which have occurred by constituents includes developed written plans, guidelines, and exercises for seven designated Sub-Areas of the Region.
