Journal of the American Animal Hospital Association Information for Reviewers
The mission of the Journal of the American Animal Hospital Association (JAAHA) is to publish accurate, timely scientific and technical information pertaining to the practice of small animal medicine and surgery. JAAHA is a peer-reviewed publication, with a target audience of veterinarians in clinical practice and their practice team members.
The primary role of Review Board members is to assess the scientific quality and suitability for publication of Journal submissions. No review board member will be asked to review more than 6 submissions in any calendar year and will only be asked to review manuscripts in that reviewer's area of expertise. The length of term to serve on the Board is 3 years. For more information on becoming a reviewer, or to get started, please contact Dr. Alan Rebar at [email protected].
Each AAHA member practice, as well as individual veterinarians not affiliated with a practice team, will receive one print copy as a member benefit. Individual subscriptions are available. Please visit (www.aaha.org) for more information.
