It is my honor and privilege to represent the 2020 Association for Vascular Access (AVA) Board of Directors (BoD) as President. I want to take this opportunity to introduce the 2020 BoD:

This is a diverse group of vascular access specialists, physicians, an infection prevention specialist, and a C-suite executive. There are many more unique characteristics about this board, not least of which is how honored I am to be the first AVA President to hail from the state of Wisconsin. As you can see, the board collaboration occurs across 9 different states and Canada. Our AVA leadership team is equally spread across the United States. Technology makes it possible for everyone to meet monthly and requires advanced planning across multiple time zones.
