In our lives today, information comes to us from every direction. With technology we are given access to libraries at our fingertips even though we are a world away. We can access peer-reviewed articles that have not yet made it to print as well as pour over the archives of the sentinel studies that are driving today’s practice.
Social networking sites allow us quick access to information and conversation with peers to discuss current questions and receive feedback far beyond our personal contacts. While this is a powerful tool, we also know that not every answer is evidence-based and, at times, perhaps not even safe.
