As a new type of variable section pile, concrete expansion piles have the advantages of high bearing capacity, strong overturning resistance, and flexible design position. However, the effects of disc parameters on failure state and bearing capacity need further study. In this study, taking disc number as the main parameter, an innovative semisection pile model test method of undisturbed soil is proposed to study the influence of disc number on horizontal bearing capacity and soil failure state of concrete expanded piles under horizontal force. The research results of this study have further improved the test method, test device, and theoretical research conclusion of the undisturbed soil half-section model, which promotes popularization and application of concrete expansion piles.
