A variable cross-section cantilever beam is established to describe coastal rocks. A new differential term is developed to interpret the rock's stress-strain curves. Ocean waves are treated as stochastic incentives. The dynamic model of the beam is built up, and its nonlinear dynamic characteristics is obtained. The results show that the large periodic vibrations will cause fragmentation of coastal rocks. These results will be available for the fragmentation mechanism of coastal rocks impacted by ocean waves.
