The development of global tourism has put forward higher requirements for the quality of tourism English talents in coastal cities. Cultivating compound high-quality tourism English talents is a new requirement for talent cultivation in the development of global tourism. Tourism English talents are an important medium for establishing scenic spots and local images, and also a walking signboard for the construction of scenic spots in a region and the construction of spiritual civilization in a city. Their service ability directly affects the international image of the scenic spots and local areas. Based on the requirements of the development of global tourism for the quality of tourism talents, this paper systematically analyzes the quality structure of composite tourism English talents in coastal cities under the background of global tourism, in order to provide reference for the cultivation of composite tourism English talents in coastal cities. As the main force of talent training, colleges and universities should make clear the new requirements of tourism for talents, give full play to the role of intellectual support and information guidance, update the concept of talent training in time, reform the model of talent training, and assume the responsibility of talent training.
