Mr. Hilliard Pivnick graduated from the Ontario Agricultural College specializing in bacteriology. He received his M. S. degree from Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada, where he spent three years with the Fisheries Experimental Station of the Fisheries Research Board of Canada. At present he is working in the laboratory of Dr. F. W. Fabian, Michigan State College, as an industrial research fellow. He expects to receive his Ph. D. in January, 1952, and then teach food and sanitation bacteriology at the University of Nebraska.
