Dr. Hall received his B.S. degree in 1948 at Ohio State University, M.S. degree in 1950 at the University of Delaware, and was granted his Ph.D. degree at Michigan State College in 1952. He joined the staff at Michigan State College in September 1951, as associate professor of engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in the State of Michigan.
Before coming to M.S.C., he was a part time instructor at Ohio State University, and later was appointed assistant professor of agricultural engineering at the University of Delaware.
Dr. Hall is national chairman of the American Society of Agricultural Engineers' committee on agricultural processing, and a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, Tau Beta Pi engineering honorary, Gamma Delta Sigma, American Association of University Professors, and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
