ABSTRACT
Leopard geckos, Eublepharis macularius, have become popular with both experienced herpetoculturists and novice reptile owners. This paper characterizes the species and discusses environmental, dietary and reproductive specifications. A client education handout describing basic care, feeding and medical problems for which a veterinarian skilled in reptile care should be consulted is also included.
