The present work reports on the performance of the infrared test techniques developed and used for the thermal balance testing of the Olympus spacecraft thermal model. Developments in the area of computer software, radiometers, and temperature measurement systems are presented. The power control and data acquisition systems are also detailed. A summary of the test results shows that temperature differences between test and predictions are in agreement within the values obtained in past programs for an uncorrelated mathematical model.
