President David S. Lindsay called the meeting to order at 0804 hr and noted that a quorum was present. President Lindsay made a few opening remarks, and Council members and other attendees introduced themselves. He recognized the new officers for 2015–2016: President, Mark Siddall; President-Elect, Gerald Esch; Vice President, Susan Perkins; Council Members-at-Large, Sara Brant and Kevin Lafferty (2015–19); Nominating Committee, Michelle Steinauer (Chair), Katharina Dittmar, Ben Hanelt, Kristin Herrmann, Sarah Orlofske, Sean Locke (Alternate); and Student Representative, Sara Weinstein (2015–16). President Lindsay expressed his appreciation to outgoing Council Members-at-Large Robin Overstreet and Timothy Yoshino, outgoing Student Representative Emily Kasl, and outgoing Nominating Committee, Jillian Detwiler (Chair), Ben Hanelt, Kym Jacobson, Janet Koprivnikar, Derek Zelmer, and Vasyl Tkach (Alternate).
