It is a great pleasure to introduce Professor Timothy Geary, whom I have known for over 30 years. Without a doubt, Tim is an extraordinarily gifted scientist, teacher, and academic administrator, and is surely one of the most honest, unselfish, and friendly individuals in our world of parasitology. We are so lucky to have him in our scientific community, and without a shadow of doubt he is a most worthy recipient of this prestigious Clark P. Read award.

Tim is from Michigan, a “Great Lakes Man” through and through, receiving a B.Sc. in biology from the University of Notre Dame and a Ph.D. in pharmacology and pharmacogenetics from the University of Michigan.
