One of the world's foremost experts on the ecology of host–parasite relationships in marine systems is Klaus Rohde. In 1993, the second edition of his Ecology of Marine Parasites was printed (CABI International). Twelve years later, he expanded the approach from the ecology of marine parasites to just about everything that has anything to do with marine parasitology.
