Open Access
The American Society of Parasitologists is dedicated to providing quality research materials and maintaining a sustainable access model for users. Our open access policy allows authors to publish their articles affordably, while still maintaining the excellent accessibility our users are accustomed to.
The cost to make an article open access is $800 for members and $1,100 for non-members. Journal articles are posted at The Journal of Parasitology website (www.journalofparasitology.org) and BioOne (www.bioone.org). Open access articles are published under a CC BY-NC-ND license: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/legalcode.
Authors who opt for Open Access do not pay regular pay charges.
Open Access Benefits:
- Enhanced article exposure and visibility
- Accelerated discovery
