For those of us who completed a residency and dreamed of becoming preceptors, working the graveyard shift comes with the realization that preceptor dream will remain just that, a dream. As a pediatric emergency medicine pharmacist, who happens to work graveyards, I was presented with the invitation to create a student pharmacist rotation by my supervisor. Surprised, but pleased, I set about to do just that.
