Michael D. Reed, PharmD, FCCP, FCP, associate editor for JPPT, is the recipient of the 2020 American Society of Health-System Pharmacy Foundation Literature Award for Sustained Contributions. This award “recognizes a pharmacist with a 20-year record of publishing high quality and impactful peer-reviewed biomedical literature”. In addition to serving JPPT, Dr. Reed serves as an associate editor for the Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, a member of the editorial board and a referee for 6 and 30 scientific/clinical-based Journals, respectively. Dr. Reed has published over 130 peer-reviewed publications of his original work, 53 book chapters and 73 invited reviews and editorials. Dr. Reed is Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics, Department of Pediatrics, School of Medicine, Case Western reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio.
