Jolene Bostwick is currently the CPNP Student Committee Vice Chair, and she dedicates approximately 5 hours to the organization each month. Below, she explains in her own words why she volunteers for CPNP.

  • Opportunities for networking and professional growth through collaboration with fellow committee members and the CPNP Board of Directors

  • Ability to gain leadership experience

  • Opportunity to share my interest and enthusiasm for psychiatric pharmacy with students across the United States

  • Professional satisfaction in helping to develop future leaders of our organization and so much more!

I feel through my service to CPNP, I have contributed to promoting both CPNP and the profession. Through my volunteer service, and those of countless others, we have the opportunity to shape the future direction of CPNP. In addition, I feel I have had a positive impact on students and colleagues with whom I have the opportunity to engage with through these experiences.

For all of the reasons listed above! In addition, CPNP is driven by our members and volunteers and cares about your thoughts and ideas in order to grow and enhance the impact of our specialty. There are so many different ways members can get involved and there is most certainly a committee that will meet your professional or personal needs and interests.
