Published in 2009, this 288-page (print) book describes the use and impact of positivity in our lives, and supports ideas with works in the areas of literature, education, psychology, business, medicine, contemporary popular culture, and more. The book is largely divided into two parts. The first part sets the foundation for positivity and second part guides readers to look at their own level of positivity, while providing guidance to achieving greater levels of positivity using various perspectives, exercises and toolkits. Each of the 12 chapters across the two parts has its own set of works cited for further reference and exploration.

This book provides an overview of the author's perspective on positivity using very easy-to-read language and referencing a list of diverse works. Each chapter combines historic works and experiences with the idea that positivity can have a lasting and affirming impact in our lives. The author stresses that we individually have the power to incorporate positivity into our existence, and reap the benefits of seeing how incorporating it can allow us to flourish, and make our lives richer on various levels.
