This may seem an odd way to begin a guest editorial in a dental journal, but there is a point, so please bear with me for a moment. How many of us still enjoy the feel of an actual paper copy of a book, newspaper, magazine, or journal in our hands? At a time when everything has gone electronic—from utility bills, bank statements, restaurant menus (…how I dislike QR codes…) to, yes, even our Operative Dentistry journal—I admit that I still hold on to a LOT of paper.
