The Faculty of Dentistry's multidisciplinary Department of Clinical Sciences invites applications for a full-time tenure-stream and contractually limited position in Restorative Dentistry. The appointments will be at the rank of assistant/associate professor and will begin on July 1, 2010. We seek candidates whose primary responsibility will be to develop an independent research program to complement the existing research in Restorative Dentistry. Responsibilities will include involvement in undergraduate, postgraduate and/or continuing education teaching programs. Restorative Dentistry includes Operative Dentistry, Extra-coronal Restorations and Esthetic Dentistry.

Applicants should have: (i) an advanced research degree, preferably a PhD (or equivalent) and the potential for high-quality research as a principal investigator in an area related to restorative dentistry, (ii) demonstrated excellence in teaching ability and clinical expertise in restorative/operative dentistry and (iii) eligibility for registration to practice dentistry in the Province of Ontario.
