Meridian User Guide
Allen Press is excited to launch its new, advanced web platform called Meridian, hosted by Silverchair. We believe users will find the new platform intuitive and easy-to-use, but understand that you may have questions regarding how to set up your profile and utilize Meridian’s new features.
We have created this document to simplify the user experience and help answer questions that may arise for individual readers. Here are a few topics that will be covered:
- Reset Your Password

Reset Your Password
While your user profile remains intact, you will need to reset your password to access the Meridian journal site.
- Click the link to reset your password: https://meridian.allenpress.com/my-account/reset-password
- Enter your email address.
- Check the captcha, and click submit.
- An email will be sent to you with a link to reset your password. Make sure to check your spam folder.
- Click the link provided in the email. You will be directed to the “Forgot Your Password” page.
- Type in your new password and confirm.
- 7. You should now be able to login with your username and new password.
Are you looking to add an alert for the Published Ahead of Print Articles? Latest Issue? Article Activity?
Published Ahead of Print Articles and Latest Issue Alerts can be found on any “Issues” page. Navigate to any issue or article page and the “Get Email Alerts” widget will display on the right-hand side of the page. Simply click which alert you would like to add and a pop-up will ask you to confirm the request.

Note: Article Activity Alerts can only be added from an article page.

At the top of the website, there is a search bar. Type a keyword into the search bar and hit Enter. Once the search results display, you will see a “Save Search” option in blue font.

Click the “Save Search” link and the following screen will appear. In the Saved Search confirmation widget, users will have the option to select “Yes” or “No” to receive alerts when a new article is published related to your search term.

Users can view all the saved searches within their profile by clicking the username in the top-right corner of the page and then clicking the “Saved Searches” dropdown menu link.

Addition Profile Information
Users can navigate to their specific profile by clicking “Sign In” under the top-right dropdown menu. After logging in, users can click their username in the top right-hand corner of the page to view the following dropdown menu.

The “My Alerts” tab allows users to view all alerts under the profile as well as turn off and/or delete alerts.
The “My Subscriptions and Downloads” tab shows users all active subscriptions linked to the profile in addition to individual articles that have been purchased.

The “My Tokens” tab displays any tokens users have purchased for specific journal content.

The “Enter Access Code” gives users the ability to insert an access code to redeem access to article content for specific journals. The access token must be created by the publisher.
