Abstract
In this paper, we describe insights from a formed Latinx Community Advisory Committee (LCAC) that consisted of 11 Latinx mothers of children with special needs. Three Public Health graduate students, as a part of a Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) seminar, joined virtual meetings of the LCAC to hear insights into barriers and challenges of caregiving from these Latinx mothers, and the graduate students were tasked with developing a CBPR research proposal based on these insights.
