Dominique Stringer
Dominique Stringer (strido01@gmail.com) has a BA in Anthropology from Luther College. Their research thus far has focused on non-normative identity formation and refugee integration experiences. Dominique spent the 2022–2023 year as a fellow for the Luther College Center for Ethics and Public Engagement, coordinating and promoting events related to immigration, climate justice, and representation. They have recently been admitted to the University of Kansas Museum Studies Master’s Program. Dominique is passionate about storytelling, education, and community collaboration.

Eleanor Schmalz
Eleanor Schmalz (eleanorschmalz@gmail.com) has a BS in Biology with a specialization in Forensic Anthropology from The Ohio State University. Her research interests include public health, infectious disease, and health equity. She currently works as an Educator at the Science Museum of Virginia, both teaching and creating informal educational programming for guests of all ages.

Lindsay Douglass
Lindsay Douglass (douglal3@miamioh.edu) has a BA in Anthropology and Spanish with a minor in Global Health from Miami University-Oxford. Her research has dealt with topics involving refugee and migrant studies, gender and sexuality studies, and medical anthropology, with past projects including “From a Different World: Connections to Roots, Resources, and Receiving Communities Establishing Refugee’s Sense of Well-being” and “Tightening the Safety Net: Mental Health Services for Hispanic Patients in Free-Clinics.” Currently, she works for a non-profit in Seville, Spain, aiming to improve vulnerable populations’ access to sociosanitary education and services.
