Since the publication of the first edition of Radiation Biology for the Radiologist by E. J. Hall, each edition of the book has in turn been a “classic”, an excellent and comprehensive resource for radiation biology information for residents, practicing clinicians, graduate students, radiation researchers and any others interested in the field. The latest edition, number 6, in which E. J. Hall, previously the sole author, has been joined by A. J. Giaccia, continues that wonderfully high standard. This new edition is timely and is nicely updated and rewritten.
