Following the publication of a nine-year study (2003–2011; Hamlin et al. 2012) of the vascular flora of the Middlesex Fells Reservation, a suburban forest in the greater Boston area, continued research resulted in an update note for 2012 (Hamlin and Kittredge 2013). Here, we report the results of an additional year of field work entailing approximately 250 hours in 2013. This work included making vouchers for taxa not previously vouchered from the Fells, so that vouchers now exist for approximately 800 taxa found in the Fells.

For the 2012 season, we reported discovery of 21 taxa new to the Fells since the 2012 publication, eight of which were native. New finds of non-native taxa are to be expected to continue indefinitely; however, finds of native taxa could indicate their undetected presence in the reservation for many years....
