In the recent article “Cyperus brevifolioides (Cyperaceae): a new record for Massachusetts” by Gregory Palermo and Margaret Curtin (Rhodora 121:136-141. 2019, DOI: 10.3119/18-12), the Oak Bluffs Cyperus brevifolioides population mistakenly reported to be found growing along the edge of a slightly brackish pond (paragraph 3, page 136) should be reported to be growing along the edge of a predominantly fresh coastal pond.
