Die Weidensammlung von Heinrich Oberli -ein Spezialarboretum für Lehre und Forschung | The Willow Collection of Heinrich Oberli - a Specialized Arboretum for Teaching and Research

The unique Salix arboretum Oberli in Wattwil (Canton of St. Gallen,Switzerland) is described and the research activities associated with this collection are listed. The collection comprises 72 species and 33 hybrids from Europe, North America and Asia. Main emphasis is on species which are indigenous in the Alps. The status of the collection within Europe is discussed.
