About IJPT

Launched in 2014 as the official journal of the Particle Therapy Co-Operative Group, it is the mission of IJPT to provide a preferred venue for disseminating the most up-to-date information on the clinical, physical, and biological research in proton, light-ion, and heavy charged-particle therapy. Since its founding, IJPT has received articles by nearly 300 prominent radiation oncologists, physicists, and dosimetrists from 200 institutions around the world.

The Summer Issue

Our Summer Issue looks at heart dose reduction with protons during mediastinal lymphoma treatment, an operational response and an analysis of staff illness during COVID-19, the importance of verification CT-QA scans in head and neck cancer patients, and a community proton center's contour-based, peer review workflow.
