Launched in 2014 as the official journal of the Particle Therapy Co-Operative Group, it is the mission of IJPT to provide a preferred venue for disseminating the most up-to-date information on the clinical, physical, and biological research in proton, light-ion, and heavy charged-particle therapy. Since its founding, IJPT has received articles by nearly 300 prominent radiation oncologists, physicists, and dosimetrists from 200 institutions around the world.
The Spring Issue
Our Spring Issue features articles on PT and second cancers for children with intracranial tumors, PBT in the treatment of periorbital malignancies, postoperative or salvage proton radiotherapy for prostate cancer following radical prostatectomy, cardiac-sparing and breast-sparing whole lung irradiation using intensity modulated proton therapy, and the proceedings of PTCOG 2020Online.
Coming this summer, with 33 articles by renowned international authors knowledgeable in head and neck cancer management, the IJPT Special Issue will be the definitive guide to the new standard of care: particle therapy in the management of head and neck malignancies.
