The purpose of this article is to compare two spinal cord injury cases with basic similarities. The main difference between them is when on-site case management was utilized--early in the injury or later after severe problems developed. Does on-site case management make a difference and to whom? Do parameters of case management affect the outcome and does everyone involved understand these parameters?
